BIOGRAPHY This male and female fronted dark melodic metal band hail from the West Midlands. In case you don't know, this is also the home of Black Sabbath, Formed in an undisclosed location by a group of friends whose main aim was to journey forth making music they all liked. Abigail's Mercy soon took on a life of it's own and whilst they don't yet know where the journey will lead them, they are damn well enjoying the ride... 2005 saw the release of their debut album, Salvation, receiving much critical acclaim from revered rock publications such as Metal Hammer and Terrorizer. Salvation almost immediately became a 'rated' album in HMV. SALVATION The video for To Hell With Angels won the band an award at the 2006 Swansea International Film Festival and was voted number 1 by viewers of 'Choon' (Sky 195 Music Channel). To Hell with Angels - Abigail's Mercy Cloud Dancer - Abigail's Mercy Abigail's Mercy have gigged all over the country including prestegious gigs, headlining at JB's, that well known Dudley venue and the Birmingham Acedemy. Their second album, After The Fall is scheduled for release on Pure Darkness Records mid March 2009, with production duties handled by Ivor Novello nominated producer Ian Wallman. Anyone familiar with Abigail's Mercy will immediately notice how the band and their sound has matured with even more rounded style and sound.
